Job description

As an audiovisual IT technician, you will be responsible for the IT part of the work involved in the integration and installation of audiovisual equipment. Network management, firmware upgrades, software and operating systems are all meat and drink to you as part of your daily tasks.

What will your job entail?

As an audiovisual IT technician, you will be responsible for the IT part of the work involved in the integration and installation of audiovisual equipment. Network management, firmware upgrades, software and operating systems are all meat and drink to you as part of your daily tasks.

• Network management and installation
• Firmware upgrades
• Software and driver installation
• Maintaining equipment
• Programming and scripting control systems (Python, etc.)
• Presenting short training courses about specific IT software
• Providing internal and external IT support

Technical requirements

You will need the following skills and capabilities to be able to carry out these tasks:

• Demonstrable technical audiovisual expertise and experience in a relevant IT-related position
• Bitten by IT with the flex of AV
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, electronics or audiovisual technology would be an advantage
• Avixa CTS certification is a great benefit
