Welcome to AUVICOM, where fifty years of passion, dedication, and innovation form the foundation of our success story. Our history began on April 1, 1974, when Donaat Van Den Daele, accompanied by his wife Roos Delbeke and later joined by his brother Bernard Van Den Daele as a silent partner, laid the groundwork for Hi-Fi Studio 44. What started as a modest passion for audio equipment quickly evolved into a thriving business.

Donaat Van Den Daele, a graduate of Narafi in Vorst as a technical engineer, developed an early interest in audio and Hi-Fi equipment. His final project at Narafi involved designing and building an FM radio with a separate amplifier, showcasing his technical skills and passion for sound technology.

After working for several years as a sales representative in the weighing scales and lathes industry, Donaat decided to combine his knowledge and interests to establish Hi-Fi Studio 44.

The attic of the family home in Dworp was transformed into a cozy listening space, where customers could visit by appointment to enjoy their favorite music and purchase audio equipment.

In the early 1980s, Hi-Fi Studio 44 expanded to include the sale of video recorders and televisions, prompting Donaat to focus on the business full-time.

Brands like Grundig, Philips, Panasonic, JVC, and Samsung were added to the product range, driving rapid growth and establishing the company as a recognized name in the audiovisual industry.

The partnership with BARCO, a leading manufacturer of video projectors, proved invaluable to the business. BARCO’s innovative technologies and products quickly became an integral part of Hi-Fi Studio 44’s offerings.

Over the years, Hi-Fi Studio 44 evolved into AUVICOM, a leading provider of audiovisual solutions with expertise in projection, sound, and event technology.

During this period, the Rent division was also established, enabling AUVICOM to rent out audiovisual equipment for events and gatherings. This expansion of services transformed AUVICOM into a versatile partner for clients, offering a complete range of audiovisual solutions.

After the passing of founder Donaat Van Den Daele in 2003, his son Bart Van Den Daele took over leadership and steered the company to new heights. Together with his brother Peter, who had previously worked at IT company Oracle, they gave the company fresh momentum and focused on further growing AUVICOM.

Under the leadership of Bart and Peter, AUVICOM became a prominent player in the audiovisual industry, with a strong focus on innovation and customer service. In 2019, Bart’s youngest daughter, Rani, joined the company after completing her studies.

As a sales manager, Rani brought fresh ideas and new energy to AUVICOM, resulting in significant revenue growth and a strengthened position in the market.

Over the past decades, Bart, Peter, and Rani, together with AUVICOM’s dedicated team, have worked tirelessly to help the company grow and thrive. Thanks to their leadership and vision, AUVICOM has adapted to changing technologies and market conditions while remaining true to its core values of integrity, quality, and customer focus.
