In the September newsletter, you could read how hybrid events will be an essential part of creating modern event experiences.

In this newsletter we will go into this in more detail. We already give you a preview of the setup of complex hybrid events and the different techniques we use for this. Using various examples, we are happy to illustrate how you can give your streaming event, no matter how large or how small, a professional look by making the right choices.

Below we give you 3 examples that go one step further in complexity. These are just examples. There are endless possible combinations, we show you what is technically possible and how we can help you with that.
Basic setup
Events where 1 or more people present, only a limited group of people can be present, but where a multitude of people (passively) must be able to follow. Audio, video and presentations are streamed live via the well-known conferencing or streaming platforms.

Basic setup

Events where 1 or more people present, only a limited group of people can be present, but where a multitude of people (passively) must be able to follow. Audio, video and presentations are streamed live via the well-known conferencing or streaming platforms.

Example: A company announcement that takes place in several branches at the same time, for all staff.

Medium setup

This setup is more extensive and requires more thorough direction, both at the level of the speakers and the audience.
Here we have several people presenting simultaneously, this can be done from different places and in different languages. In the latter case, simultaneous translations or even sign language are added. Interaction from the public is possible with eg a polling and Q&A module. Everything is edited and streamed live in the control room, via streaming platforms.

Example: Live press conference of the Flemish Government with sign language, which is broadcast on national television and on YouTube.

Complex setup

In complex setups we open up all registers in terms of possibilities. A heavier direction with more video, more audio, more presentations and more speakers from different locations worldwide. Possibility to integrate live polling and Q&A. Everything is managed by a (web) presenter. All in a live montage with multiview streaming to different channels at the same time.

Example: General meeting of a global organization with panel discussions, presentations and multiple speakers from different locations worldwide. Includes election of candidates, voting sessions on proposals and the opportunity to ask questions by the public.

You notice that there is sometimes only a vague line between basic and more complex events. Simple setups can be expanded with many additional functions to give your event unlimited and professional possibilities. Auvicom can provide this expertise at every stage.

Each streaming event is unique and requires a different approach. We have a presentation ready for you and are happy to explain it in a personal online meeting.
