It is with some pride that we present the finished audiovisual design of the Diamond office building in Ghent. A prestigious technical feat handed over recently by our team.
The iconic Diamond building catches the eye immediately with its great volume of glass and is located near Sint-Pieters station in the bustling commuter district, close to a quiet residential area. The 6 floors accommodate comfortable, high-quality offices that are occupied mainly by a leading financial institution.
A project of this stature is a chain in which each link needs completed with great care before the next link can be put in place. The major challenge here was orchestrating all of the various suppliers and contractors. This required an enormous amount of flexibility. But with its experienced and creative team, Auvicom managed to turn in yet another performance it can be proud of!
In addition to the offices, there are communal facilities, multifunctional spaces and an extensive patio. From the smallest one-on-one meeting rooms and “Green Key Rooms”, to an auditorium that can seat over 75 people.
Auvicom designed and fitted out more than 40 separate spaces across all 6 floors of the building, equipping them with presentation systems and screens, projection facilities and sound systems.
We were also responsible for the booking system used to reserve meeting rooms, as well as for all of the monitors for display screen communication or digital signage.

The ground floor offers an impressive atrium flooded with daylight, featuring two striking Samsung LED walls, plus a communal entrance desk and reception area with its remarkable curved OLED presentation screen from LG. Then there are more meeting rooms and a restaurant with more visual communication displays and digital signage (find out more about display screen communication here).
Auvicom was able to achieve and deliver this design by thinking creatively, constructively and very flexibly with the client and a range of contractors. In the end, we succeeded in completing this dazzling project within budget and on time. A diamond could never deserve anything less! Just like Auvicom itself, the Diamond building stands for quality, precision and craftsmanship. All brought together in a triumph of iconic architecture.
